We are in need of donations to help offset the cost of Proheart 6 injections. Several of our adoptable dogs have been in foster homes for quite some time now. We have decided to put our "residents" of The Pit Stop Rescue on the ProHeart 6 Heartworm Injection. Proheart protects the dogs from heartworm disease for a full 6 months! This will be perfect for our dogs that have been in foster homes for months now. We won't have to worry about getting a monthly pill out to them because they will be protected for 6 months at a time.
The injections are about $70 per dog. We have 3 of our adoptables that have been in foster the longest, so we are trying to raise about $200 to have those three covered for 6 months of heartworm preventative.
